We are committed to empowering the role of Legal Executive and understand that many legal professionals’ career goal is to excel within the scope of a Legal Executive role. That is why many of our teams are led by highly specialised and experienced Legal Executives.
For the legal executive with experience, we intentionally create highly responsible and challenging roles, while for those beginning their legal career, we offer entry-level positions with the support in place to develop specialised expertise and become a confident career legal executive. Many of our team managers started their careers with Belgard in this entry-level role.
Fundamental to building and maintaining our culture is a precise and scientific approach to recruitment and selection. Firstly, all candidates are objectively screened against set minimum experience and qualification criteria.
Following this, is a two-phased interview process in which the candidate’s competencies, behavioural style and driving values are analysed using psychometric profiling and compared to predetermined role profiles. Maintaining objectivity and minimising biases throughout the selection process is key to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, so all managers and staff receive training in this area.
To build upon a culture that is inclusive and empathetic, getting feedback is important. We conduct regular staff engagement and pulse surveys to assess the effectiveness of our policies, practices and supports. Open communication with staff is maintained via town halls, email updates, team meetings and our staff newsletter The Belgardian.
If this sounds like a work culture that matches your values, lifestyle, and career ambitions keep an eye on our Open Vacancies section.
